God spoke it, and it is…through numerous technical set backs and personal disappointments, delay has not meant denial for hip-hop artist and minister Todd Bangz. Anticipation for new music from the artist formally known as "Tre-Z" has been twice fulfilled by the double CD entitled "Think It's a Game," sub-dubbed 'the forbidden memoirs of Todd Bangz.'

The story of Todd Tremain Elliott unfolds easily as you listen between the tracks of "Think it' a Game." With shout outs to his roots in upstate New York "Roc City Epistle," songs such as "Stars and Stripes" and "Loveless" candidly show the wounds endured from his family that have made this Christ soldier that much stronger. "Your Mercy" is Todd's personal testament to the reality of urban living, while temptation gets the one-two K-O on back to back cuts "Not 4 Me" and "God Got It." Praising God is primary on "Do Dat" and "Christ Is" while living life God's way is central on cuts like "I Repent" and "Never Again." Todd speaks in modern day metaphors to unbelievers and his mainstream counterparts, warning them to listen and turn their lives over to Christ with tracks such as "Breath Ya Last," "Industry Puppets," "When Will You Learn?" and of course the title track. "Think It's A Game" is balanced out with guest appearances from fellow Bang Theory crew members Shekinah and B Dill, and appearances from J Silas, Tragedy, Minister Zion, J.A.I.S and the smooth vocals of Alena.

Todd Bangz is one of the rare artists who can compose his own music, write his own lyrics, and even record himself in the booth, with the help of a wireless keyboard! Though not a formally trained musician, melodies and harmonies flows easily from his fingers to create the bumping beats that make his listeners pay attention. Natural gifting was enhanced by a stint studying recording engineering at New York's Institute of Audio Research, which has resulted in Todd's production being able to sit at the same CD bins along side the likes of The Neptunes, Dr. Dre, Dark Child Productions and Kanye West.

Todd Bangz is arguably one of the Christian Hip Hop industry's most sought after producers, having appeared on early and current releases of groups such as The Cross Movement, Corey Red & Precise, Big Nate, Mark J and others. He even spent time as the in house producer for Life Music LLC founded by Bad Boy Entertainment's C.F.O. Derek Ferguson.

It would be easy for Todd Bangz to rest on his production accomplishments and sharing pulpits and stages with top Christian artists. But a self-imposed break from the music industry in 2002 was not the sign of the end, but of new beginnings. With the June 2005 release of Think It's a Game, Todd Bangz is building again, but with a more defined vision in sharing the message of the gospel through the preached, rapped and lived word of God!
